For those who have requested, we’ve also added the ability to buy gift certificates for tickets to the show. Luc Langevin (who you have never heard of because all of his wonderful TV specials only air in French Canadia) teaches a fun little trick you can do at a party… if you speak enough French to understand the instructions.
Probably better if you do this at someone else’s house so you’re not destroying your own spoons.
A music video with some magic in it so subtle I almost missed it.
The 2Cellos are one of my favourite music groups. I saw them live in concert earlier this year. When people asked me what it was a unique experience. A 20+ piece string ensemble playing classical music in the first half, and the audience (of which I was on the lower end of the age spectrum) on their feet clapping and singing along like teenagers at a rock concert. You have not lived until you’ve seen a cellist rolling around on his back playing “Highway to Hell”.
Since that, they’ve released a new album and this shows off their calmer, softer side. And it is beautifully shot with a very nice piece of magic subtly woven into it.
Last week, I took part in a special year-end show put on by The Toronto Magic Company to celebrate the holidays and the end of another season of their open mic show, The Newest Trick In The Book. Over twelve magicians appeared including Marc Correia, Keith Brown, Jonah Babins, Ben Train, James Harrison, Ryan Brown, Glenn West, Chris Mayhew, Leigh Beadon and Edward Gabreal.
