Sin City Illusions September 2

Coming up September 2, I’ll be appearing with Steven Jones at The Rec Room in Toronto.

Saturday, September 2, 2023
7:30 PM
The Rec Room, 255 Bremner Blvd
in Toronto

From Sin City Illusions:

Come join us at the Rec Room for an evening of magic and incredible sleight of hand. We are featuring two of Toronto's finest close up magicians, and you're not going to believe your eyes! No worries about the view, since we'll have a close up shot of all the magic on our giant video wall so everyone can see.

This show is fun for all ages, so bring the whole family!

Your feature performers are:

James Alan: A professional magician based in Toronto, James is a magician and sleight of hand artist who has performed for large stages across Canada. He's been featured at the Summerworks Performance Festival, The Hamilton Fringe Festival and The Wychwood Theatre. He brings his “thought provoking, funny, astonishing and thoroughly entertaining” show to our stage, and we couldn't be more excited!

Steven Jones: A professional magician from England, he has been entertaining audiences since 2009. His illusions have astonished all ages around the globe. Steven has worked as a magician all around England, Spain, the Dominican Republic, the United States and Canada - where he has had his own close up show in the Museum Of Illusions since 2019. He is called the King of Cards, and we're sure you will agree!

Tickets are limited and will sell out, so get yours early. See you there!

A Successful Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who participated in our special virtual fundraiser benefiting the Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto. Together we raised over $1,200 for charity.

Thank you to the board of directors for the Sid Lorraine Hat & Rabbit Club for helping to organize the fundraiser and, most importantly, the performers who donated their time: Gerry Frenette, Bob Herd, Jeff Hinchliffe, Rahul Menon and David Sutherland. As always, the fundraiser contains secret easter eggs for those who are willing to watch closely.

And our deepest thanks to everyone who donated as part of the show. If you have a moment, donations are still open and contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated. Donations of $10 or more automatically receive a tax receipt.

Another Virtual Magic Holiday Fundriaser

For the third year, I will be teaming up with with the Sid Lorraine Hat & Rabbit Club to raise money for Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank. Join us at 8PM eastern on Thursday, December 19 on YouTube. The show is free to watch and we’d be delighted if you could share the link with family and friends.

The link for donations is already open. All contributions of $10 and up automatically receive a tax receipt.
