This Sunday on Magic Tonight

Back by popular demand... lots of popular demand... the comedic duo of Chris Mayhew & Chris Westfall with their combined extravaganza of silliness, magic, mayhem and mild insanity Sketchy Magic. If you have a chance to join us this Sunday (after you've recovered from all of your New Years celebrating!) it's going to be an unbelievably fun night. These gentlemen are amazing, astonishing and amusing! Magic Tonight happens every Sunday night at The Crimson Lounge inside The Cage 292 (College & Spadina in Toronto). Tickets are available at www.magictonight.ca. Readers can use the code secrets for a discount on tickets and dinner.

Last week on Magic Tonight

We had a rare public performance from Ben Train. In the years (!) that I've known him, I've really only seen him perform close-up magic. So to have him up on stage for our last show of our year was a most interesting and entertaining departure.

And the best part - Ben will be back on Sunday, January 25. So if you missed your chance to see him last week, there is still hope! Tickets are available online. Readers of this blog can use the code secrets for a special discount on checkout.

CFI Canada Winter Solstice Celebration (Part 1)

Last night on Magic Tonight, we hosted a special fundraiser for CFI Canada. We celebrated the Winter Solstice with a special performance by Michael Close, and a podcast taping with David Peck. Thanks to the Centre for Inquiry for rounding up such a wonderful group of people. We set the record for the largest audience we've ever had at the show!

Magic at momondays

Monday night, I had the opportunity to perform at the Toronto momondays. This monthly gathering at the Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto features speakers on a wide range of topics. I just got to do magic. Definitely one of the warmest audiences I've gotten to perform for in recent memory - especially considering it was a packed room and it was a long event. The next event is on Monday, January 26, 2015.

Last Sunday on Magic Tonight

Fresh from his performances at the World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and special appearances in the vicinity of Broadway, we got to see Chris Mayhew's new show, Mayhew Mayhem. It was a sold out house; the largest we've had since the space was renovated to increase the seating capacity. Here are a few highlights:

We have a new show every week with different special guests. For more information and tickets, visit www.magictonight.ca. Readers of the blog can use the code secrets for a special discount online.

Last week on Magic Tonight

We were treated to a performance from the Barefoot Prophet, Paul Pacific. It's getting colder and on this occasion, we saw Paul perform fully shoed - a rare occurrence indeed! It will come as no surprise to anyone that I was wearing shoes while I performed but no one seemed unduly concerned. If you want to come to one of our upcoming shows, tickets are available online. Readers of this blog can use the code secrets for an additional discount on checkout. Check to see who's performing next at www.magictonight.ca and try and join us for our special CFI Fundraiser on December 21.
