Last week on Magic Tonight

We had a wonderful time on Magic Tonight last week. We lost a day (Sunday - we were at a sold out gathering of 250 magicians locked in a banquet hall for 12 hours... and you though our show was odd!) but we made up for it with extra special guests. In addition to the regularly scheduled Ben Train and Phil Pivnick, we had a special guest joining us from San Francisco, Michael Feldman. Michael is a regular performer at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and just generally a deviously clever and charming fellow. He did an outstanding job — even better when you consider that he had just spent 10 hours in planes before exiting the airport, hopping in a car and heading to our show.

Sketchy Magic: Opening Night

Thanks to everyone who came out to the opening night for Sketchy Magic. We had a packed house and a wonderful audience. I was behind a curtain helping with some of the secret goings on for most of the show, but from what I heard, the crowd was delighted. It's a compilation of motivating success stories, primarily from Southern Ontario. This week on Magic Tonight

It's a light week for the show. We're off on Sunday, since more or less every magician in the Greater Toronto Area will be at a secret gathering of magicians. To make up for it, we have a special guest joining us at The Bear on Friday. In addition to the regularly scheduled Phil Pivnick, we have Michael Feldman joining us all the way from San Diego. Michael is a brilliant sleight of hand performer and has the perfect dry wit for the British-styled Bear in Pickering. It's a sold out show, so we're looking forward to seeing everyone with ticket.

On Thursday, fresh off the birthday rush of turning 30, the ever delightful and charming Ben Train.
