We raised over $3,000

Thank you to everyone who donated in support of our fundraiser for the North York General Hospital Foundation. We passed our initial goal of $2,500 and are working towards our stretch goal of $4,000.

Thanks as well to the Ace of Spades Lounge for hosting the live portion and our magic video elf, Chris Mayhew. Thanks especially to the wonderful performers who donated their time and talents both live and virtually: Jonah Babins, Farley Carter, Ian Crawford, Rob Fishbaum, Katarina Gligorijevic, Anthony Lindan, Chris Mayhew, Brian Minuzzo, David Peck, Phil Pivnick, David Sutherland, Ben Train, and Mark Wicken.

The donation page is still up, so if you have a moment to contribute, any amount is greatly appreciated.

And the show will be kept live for the next little while if you would like to go back and watch. Chapter markers have been added to the video so you can skip to watch your favourite performers.

Thanks again for all of your support. Wishing everyone a safe, prosperous and magical New Year.

This week on Magic Tonight

This Sunday, I'm joined by Phil Pivnick - who was the winner of the "Toronto's Best Magician Contest" (which was, oddly, held in Markham... because Magicians are weird.) He's a funny and polished popular children's performer, but at Magic Tonight, we stick a suit on him and watch him perform his more grown up material! He also makes lots of funny faces as you'll see in the photos below. Update: We're sold out for this Sunday's show! Visit us online to grab tickets for our upcoming performances.

Last night on Magic Tonight

We're continuing to work our wonders every Sunday night at the Crimson Lounge. My special guest, Phil Pivnick, winner of the "Toronto's Best Magician" Contest (held every year in Markham because magicians are weird), was in fine form with some comedy magic and classical sleight of hand. Take a look at some of the fun we got up to. Magic Tonight continues every Sunday night in Downtown Toronto. This week on Magic Tonight

We're back at the Crimson Lounge in Toronto this Sunday night for James Alan's Magic Tonight. I'll be joined by the incredibly suave, charming and prestigious Phil Pivnick. Phil has been on the show many times and earlier this year, he won the "Toronto's Best Magician Contest" put on by A1 Chinese Radio. Tickets for the show are available on our site. Sunday night's show at the Crimson Lounge featured the purple-shoed wonder, Phil Pivnick. Typically delightful and comical. If you haven't been to see the show in a while, take a look at what you missed: (*Sadly, shoes not pictured.)
