Magic Tonight

This weekend on Magic Tonight

We're nearly sold out for this Sunday's instalment of Magic Tonight. It's an extremely busy time of year for performers, so originally the plans were to just have me this Sunday, but I'm now being joined by the irritatingly photogenic [1] Keith Brown. Keith spent the bulk of the summer touring his Fringe show Exchange and is back in and around Toronto and London performing his signature trick where he swallows neckties and spits them back up again knotted. [2] We have a few seats left for the show, so I hope you can join us. It's going to be a fun magical evening.

Magic Tonight continues Sunday nights in Downtown Toronto at the Crimson Lounge. Readers of this blog can use the code reality for a discount on the price of tickets and dinner when purchasing online.

[1] A longstanding joke here on the blog. Surely you concede the nickname is deserved!

[2] This is not a trick Keith actually performs, but we all wish it were.

Last week on Magic Tonight

Last night on the show, my very special guest (and when you see the photos, you'll agree, I mean special) was Jason Palter. We had a wonderful time and as we get deeper into the holiday season we're starting to get full. So if you're coming down to see Magic Tonightbe sure to make your reservations early before we fill up.

Last week on Magic Tonight

It was a sold out show — which are oddly quite stressful, because there's barely any room to move around tables and we're sometimes in the unpleasant position of having to turn people away. I was joined by Michael "Merlin" Ross who has been performing since before I was born. He appeared when I was younger on Sesame Street and Mr. Dressup. He's been working primarily on the west cost for the past several years so we were able to have him on while he was visiting family here in Ontario.

Take a small peek at what you missed:

This Week on Magic Tonight

This Sunday's special guest on Magic Tonight is a blast from the past. I've never actually performed with Michael Ross before but when I was but a wee lad, I saw him on Mr. Dressup and Sesame Street. Like me, he focuses on classical conjuring and has a lot of material which you almost never see performed live these days. So come join us for dinner and a wonderful evening of magic and fun at the Crimson Lounge downtown on Sunday night.

Last night on Magic Tonight

We're continuing to work our wonders every Sunday night at the Crimson Lounge. My special guest, Phil Pivnick, winner of the "Toronto's Best Magician" Contest (held every year in Markham because magicians are weird), was in fine form with some comedy magic and classical sleight of hand. Take a look at some of the fun we got up to. Magic Tonight continues every Sunday night in Downtown Toronto. This week on Magic Tonight

We're back at the Crimson Lounge in Toronto this Sunday night for James Alan's Magic Tonight. I'll be joined by the incredibly suave, charming and prestigious Phil Pivnick. Phil has been on the show many times and earlier this year, he won the "Toronto's Best Magician Contest" put on by A1 Chinese Radio. Tickets for the show are available on our site.
